Dee Ann Boydston began singing and performing at an early age and became interested in acting during her high school years. In college, She started out as a vocal performance major but soon felt drawn to work with children, so she switched to elementary education and early child development. While attending college she developed a self-esteem building drama performance which was presented to elementary schools in the Phoenix, AZ area.
Over the years she has been active in children's ministries in church and most recently has been focusing on directing and producing youth drama arts productions. Her love for working with children and youth and helping them develop poise and self confidence on the stage has become her passion successfully blending teaching and performing.
Dee Ann has also been quite involved in local performing arts groups including Out of the Woods Family Theater, Mountain Harmony Show Choir and Northwoods Performing Arts. She has performed, produced and directed in over 30 productions in addition to being involved in many other area performing arts events.
In addition, she is an antiques and vintage dealer with her husband at The Leaping Lemming.
